I’m a little behind, so I’m going to be doing some shorter reviews until I catch up, which will hopefully be later this week.

Garth Ennis and Russ Braun continue to deliver one of the more fun titles to come out of Secret Wars, with Where Monsters Dwell.  Issue #3 is no exception.  The story does take a slightly strange and interesting turn in this issue, but it still manages to keep the plot engaging.  The comedy is still there, although it does come with a slightly darker and somewhat more serious tone in the third issue.  Braun’s artwork still fits with the story perfectly, in that it’s slightly cartoonish, but not overly so.  Overall, I’m still really enjoying this series, but this issue just wasn’t as good for me as the first two.

The Verdict for Where Monsters Dwell #3:
4/5 – I can dig it.

Until next time,
Stay nerdy, my friends.

Upcoming reviews:
March of the Crabs, Volume 1: The Crabby Condition
Planet Hulk #3 (Secret Wars Tie-In)
Old Man Logan #3 (Secret Wars Tie-In)
Weirdworld #2 (Secret Wars Tie-In)
