I seem to be perpetually behind these days.  I’m trying to fix it, I promise.

Ultimate End #4 brings this series back full circle, and we finally see a little bit more coherence with the plot threads, but sadly it’s still not enough to make it very interesting.  The whole series up to and including this issue seems to just be meandering toward an end, and it’s ultimately been pretty boring.  However, in this issue a character who has seemingly been hiding resurfaces, and hopefully that will mean a big ending for the series in issue #5.  We can only hope, anyway.  Bagley’s artwork is still good for the most part, but it’s really not enough to save this mini-series from being anything more than mediocre.  Unless something drastic happens in the final issue, this will end up being a very disappointing send off for the Ultimate Marvel Universe.

The Verdict for Ultimate End #4:
3/5 – Meh…

Until next time,
Stay nerdy, my friends.
