Jason Aaron and Mike Del Mundo continue Arkon’s quest across the domain of Weirdworld, which certainly lives up to its name, in Weirdworld #3.  Arkon meets his first major enemy in this issue.  A soldier from another place and time that somehow found his way to this strange realm and became a mercenary for the baron of the domain, this guy is no slouch.  This issue has a bit more action than the last one, and the depth of storytelling is still there as well.  If there’s one thing this series seems to be focusing on, it’s that no one’s sanity makes it through Weirdworld intact.  Del Mundo’s artwork wows again to make this perhaps the sleeper hit of the entire Secret Wars event.

The Verdict for Weirdworld #3:
5/5 – Must Have Moar!!!
